Trevor has been advancing along the front lines of the communications revolution since 2007 when he established his popular marketing blog PR Warrior, which has since gone on to be listed by both Smart Company and Search Engine Journal as one of Australia’s top business/marketing blogs, and twice been a finalist in the Australian Writers’ Centre’s Best Blogs in Australia, since blogs are popular now a days and anyone can have a blog with the help of sites as HowToCreateABlog.org.
A former journalist with over two decades’ professional public relations practice under his belt, Trevor co-founded high profile marketing PR agency Spark Communications which worked for a ‘who’s who’ of blue-chip brands including Foster’s and CUB, Ford, NAB, Telstra, Cadbury, Schweppes, Coles, FlyBuys, Optus and ANZ, as well as numerous startups and fast-growth B2B enterprises. Spark was acquired in 2006 by media buying giant, Mitchell & Partners. More recently he spent two years as the Australian Director of Strategy + Innovation for Edelman, the world’s biggest public relations firm. More recently, Sydney Morning Herald named Trevor as one of the ‘heroes of Australian content marketing’, while Brand Quarterly included him on its global ’50 Marketing Thought Leaders Over 50′ list.
Trevor hosts the DIY personal branding podcast Reputation Revolution and is author of the book microDomination: How to leverage social media and content marketing to build a mini-business empire around your personal brand, released through Wiley Publishing.
